Lighting
A combination of passive solar and lighting design will result in an aesthetically pleasing and energy efficient atmosphere in the home. The passive design of the home includes an array of windows in a three story turret and strategically placed windows throughout the home to provide every room in the home with natural daylight, even the closets. The unique energy efficient lighting design was created by professionals at 186 Lighting Design Group. Their design utilizes energy efficient lighting fixtures, bulbs, and lighting controls to create a comfortable atmosphere with minimal energy use.
In addition, a 6 KW Solar PV array is being installed to help offset the electrical load of the home. For more information on this system, please visit our Solar Photovoltaics page.

Hubbell Automation Sensors
Hubbell Building Automation has long been the innovator in occupancy sensing technologies with the invention of both leakage to ground and self adaptive sensor technologies. HBA continues to lead the way in occupancy sensor design. Today HBA produces the most comprehensive line of occupancy sensor products on the market bar none.
Energy Environmental is installing a variety of sensors which utilize ultrasonic (US), passive infrared (PIR), or a combination of the two for unequaled occupancy detection and false trip immunity. These sensors feature Hubbell Building Automation's patented Intell ADAPT technology that continuously analyzes its environment and self-adapts, eliminating the need for manual sensitivity and timer adjustments during installation as well as over the life of the product. These products help to reduce the electricity use of lighting in a home.
